After a long time I have decided to update the latest news, yet again. Quite a lot has happened in the the last few months. Gillian is working for the summer in my old department in the bank. We have been down to se Kathy, she seems to be doing well, a few times and the last time brought the trailer back with us. I am dreading opening it as it has not been opened in 2 years. Pam and Pat are the same and Greg is so happy, he was scheduled to take summer school but both places were we had registered him cancelled so he is ecstatic.

Rita and Graham are here and have been staying with us for the last week with the exception of 2 days in Ottawa. It is good having a drinking (a.k.a. drunken) buddy....(Damn cheek! Just 'cause I love red wine, beer and Scotch...Graham) I have also spent some time with Graham, developing his family tree and a web site. Set him up with www.beckys-bears.com until he can come up with a appropriate domain name. What a challenge... family names of Johnson and Smith! Thank goodness they both leave tomorrow. Rita heads east to England to se her father for his 93rd birthday, while Graham returns to Vancouver, B.C.

I have to go and see Greg play his summer hockey League, he is playing 3 on 3 Ice Hockey. He wants to improve his skating skills and he is improving.

Anyway this is a good start on getting the latest news back up!

Well some update news, I am afraid there is not much. I am still doing the family tree although from my side it has slowed down, but I am helping Graham with his. Linda is still Linda (thank goodness). Pam and Pat are fine now that his car is working again. Kath is coming to visit us this weekend and then I will drive her and Greg down to Windsor. I miss her a lot!. Gilly is still working at CIBC in my old department for the summer, I think she is disillusioned with an office job. Greg went and spent 4 days with Heddy at his house, he was supposed to go up there to help him cut the grass and chop wood to get ready for the winter. This he did but I suspect that he did more fishing at the locks. He took Foxy with him, and he and Foxy went swimming a bit in the locks (Ughh!). We (Lin and I) went up to Kingston on Saturday to pick them up. We had a great time, Victoria and Michel were there, it was good to see them. Heddy has these pigeons and they are certainly spoilt, when he gets them to fly he sits on his patio with his 22 rifle and watches over them. He is protecting them from the hawks. On got stuck on his roof and could not get back to the barn (100 metres), this stupid bird could fly up and flip but could not fly forwards, it got stuck in a rut.
